We take great pride in advocating for and representing our clients with the highest levels of professionalism and respect, particularly in their most difficult times of financial distress. On average, we serve 125 households annually.

Our clients are referred to us by Legal Aid of North Carolina, other public interest partners, from private attorneys in our community and State and from our former clients. We often receive referrals from opposing lawyers who have had cases against us and know of our reputation for representing low-income homeowners facing financial distress.

Many clients have often been mistreated and taken advantage of through economic exploitation and/or racial discrimination, often as a part of the financial transaction that has brought them to us for representation. We are honored to advocate for justice and economic prosperity for our low-income clients.
