The legal assistance we provide is based on urgency and complexity.
We offer support on a limited basis or over a period of years, as is required in litigation and bankruptcy cases. The majority of our cases are provided pro bono.
Legal assistance services are available to residents in southeastern North Carolina, including New Hanover, Pender, Brunswick, Columbus, Bladen, Sampson, Duplin, and Onslow Counties.
The majority of clients we serve live well below the median area income including low-income families with young children, Veterans, older people, and residents with disabilities. Many also manage serious medical conditions while trying to sustain themselves on fixed Social Security benefits.
